Why New Tagore Public School exists, who we serve, and where our students go on to succeed.
New Tagore Public School is an English-medium school, Nursery to Class 10, with close to 980 students. We were built around one idea: that strong, disciplined schooling shouldn't be out of reach for families in our community — so we keep our fees deliberately low without cutting corners on teaching quality.
The school is run by Tagore Shiksha Sansthan, whose aim is to make good education available to the families of Bharatpur.
Alongside regular admissions, we also run two focused initiatives: a small number of merit scholarships for bright students, funded through partner NGOs, and a girl-child education sponsorship, through which the school itself sponsors the education of a select number of deserving girl students each year.
Our core belief is simple: children who learn the discipline of hard work early can compete with anyone, anywhere. That principle shapes everything from our classroom routines to how our teachers coach students individually.
It isn't just about marks. It's about giving children — many of whom are the first in their family to aim for a competitive exam, a professional degree, or a government post — the grounding to actually get there, and to move their whole family onto a new financial trajectory.

Separately, the school itself sponsors the education of a select number of deserving girl students each year, as part of our commitment to girls' education in our community. The number of sponsored seats is not fixed and is decided each year.
